Does my TK-01 come with a trial period?

Yes! Your TK-01 comes with a 30 day/150 brew trial period, whichever comes first. The 30 day trial period starts on the date your TK-01 is delivered, giving you plenty of time to test and dial in the machine. You can track your cup counter by tapping the menu and locating the counter button.

 

If you decide to part ways with your TK-01 within the trial period, you’ll be eligible for a full refund minus a $55 restocking fee, which covers a prepaid return label to ship the machine back to us. Keep in mind that you’ll need to hold onto the original packaging during the trial period to be eligible for a full refund.

Does my TK-01 have a warranty?

Yes! New TK-01s come with a 1 year/3,000 brew limited manufacturer’s warranty. Refurbished TK-01s come with a 6 month/1,500 brew limited manufacturer's warranty. The warranty covers machines purchased from Terra Kaffe or authorized resellers – for a list of authorized resellers, please reach out to our Customer Experience team. Machines purchased outside of this list are not covered by warranty.

 

The limited warranty covers all manufacturer defects in materials or workmanship of non-moving parts. Warranty coverage includes labor, parts, and free shipping to and from our repair center. This warranty does not apply to any unit purchased outside of Terra Kaffe or an authorized dealer, repaired outside our repair center network, or subject to any misuse, negligence, or accidents. The warranty is void upon resetting the cup counter, and does not apply upon failure to adhere to care and maintenance instructions provided by Terra Kaffe. Terra Kaffe will honor any preceding manufacturer’s warranty offered at the time of purchase.

Can I purchase an extended warranty?

Yes! Extended warranty plans are provided through Mulberry, Terra Kaffe’s official extended warranty partner. Each extended warranty covers product defects and damage from power surges or electrical failure once the manufacturer’s warranty has expired.

 

There are two different extended warranty options available for purchase. A one year extended warranty can be purchased for $100. A two year extended warranty can be purchased for $145. An extended warranty can be purchased when checking out a TK-01 or anytime within the 30 day/150 brew trial period. All active extended warranties originally purchased through Terra Kaffe will be transferred to and covered under a Mulberry protection plan.

What happens if my TK-01 stops working?

Our Customer Experience team is expertly trained and can solve most issues at home. In the event a problem cannot be solved remotely, we'll be happy to assist with a repair. Terra Kaffe covers all repair-related costs if the TK-01 is still under warranty. If the TK-01 is no longer under warranty, you can purchase an out of warranty repair package. Can I get a refund/return?

If you'd like to return your TK-01, please reach out to our Customer Experience team. We'll help confirm that you're still within the 30 day/150 brew trial period. Please hold off on packaging your machine prior to reaching out to our team, as we'll provide instructions and a shipping label for you.

 

Kindly note that peripheral products and coffee are not eligible for a refund.

When can I expect my refund?

Once your machine has been received by us, please allow up to two weeks for your return to be processed and your refund to be issued. We’re a small team and inspect each machine by hand, so please reach out to our Customer Experience team if you'd like further updates on your refund.
