Smarter Low Water Alerts, Drip Coffee Recipe in the App
What's new in v38.0.0:
- Low water alert is now dismissable, so you get a heads up without being blocked from brewing
- Out-of-water threshold is lower, meaning you go longer between refills before your machine pauses
- Drip Coffee Recipe is now in the Terra Kaffe app and can be added to your main menu (up to 10 drinks)
- Drip Coffee Carafe is shipping soon
Your TK-02 is getting even smarter about water. Our latest over-the-air update starts rolling out Monday, April 13, to all TK-02 machines, bringing a redesigned low water alert system and a new drip coffee recipe in the app.
Smarter Low Water Alerts
We heard you. Getting blocked from your morning cup because of a low water alert is frustrating, especially when there's still enough water left to finish what you started. So we've rethought how the TK-02 handles water, from the ground up.
Here's how it works now.
Your TK-02 has two distinct alerts:
Low water alert: This is your heads up. Your tank is running low, but you're not out yet. The big change: you can now dismiss this alert and keep brewing. Your drink may continue, though your drink may be interrupted depending on how close to empty you are.
Out of water alert: This alert means business. When your machine hits the out-of-water threshold, brewing will pause until you refill. No workarounds here, but you'll notice this alert takes noticeably longer to appear than before. These changes mean that your machine is waiting longer before it triggers the out-of-water alert, and you're going longer between refills overall. Less time thinking about water, more time drinking coffee!
Drip Carafe Recipe now in the app
The Drip Coffee Carafe is very close to shipping the first pre-orders and the Drip Carafe Recipe has landed in the Terra Kaffe app. You'll find it available to add to your machine menu. And if drip is your go-to (or you're curious to make it one), you can add it to your main menu, which holds up to 10 drinks.
How to get the update
v38.0.0 will roll out automatically to all TK-02 machines starting Monday. As always, firmware updates can take up to two weeks to reach everyone ,so keep your machine connected to Wi-Fi and it'll arrive on its own. Make sure your Terra Kaffe app is up to date to access the Drip Carafe Recipe.
